ABSA Affiliated British Sleddog Activities SLED DOG SPRINT RACING - TREKS - DISCIPLINE EVENTS ABSA was founded in 1992 by a few established event organisers living in the South of England, Lynn & Mike among them, primarily for KC Registered sleddog breeds. Lynn is currently the ABSA Co-ordinator. Mushers are invited on a yearly basis to compete at the various ABSA events that run from October through March. Most races have computer-assisted timing, many programmed and provided by Mike. GANGLINE - The Newsletter of ABSA Gangline is the yearly publication sent out to the previous ABSA Season's competitors. It is a roundup of events' results, gives the next ABSA Season's event dates and details, contains articles of interest, and allows for advertising in its rear pages.
